News & Campus Life for the Students of Horizon Honors

The Horizon Sun

Addy Bennett is a sophomore in her ninth year at Horizon Honors and is excited to continue her role as Editor of Student Life in her fourth year of Journalism. Bennett spends her free time crocheting, baking, eating, playing video games, and taking pictures of her dog, Pocket. She also loves to watch movies with her dad so that they can analyze them afterwards and rewatches "Sixteen Candles," “The King’s Speech,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” and “A Room With A View” somewhat obsessively. Bennett is also interested in vintage (and modern) film and especially fashion, and is big on the color pink and lots of lipstick. She is happy to dedicate her time and energy to the school drama productions and enjoys the team-based atmosphere it provides. Looking forward to rehearsal after school helps her to get through the day, which is fraught with challenging coursework. Her biggest goal, however, is to sleep as much as possible; despite this, Bennett gets very little. And she makes a mean bowl of guacamole.
