Friday, Nov. 6, students can stylishly support the Horizon Honors production of “You Can’t Take It With You” by dressing up and participating in “Fancy Friday.”

Originally thought of by student council, the cast felt like the spirit day would a great way to represent the show, according to Ann Shaheen, the teacher sponsor for the production. “Dressing up is part of theater, so it’s a fun way to celebrate opening night on Friday,” says Shaheen.

“The production is about a family who lives by their own rules, rather than those of society.  The plot is concerned with what happens when one of the daughters falls in love with a young man who is the son of a Wall Street banker and his family comes over for dinner on the wrong night,” says Shaheen. She is hopeful for a great turnout and mentioned some exciting special effects, including fireworks. The play would certainly be fun of dazzling fun for the entire family.

Students can stylishly support their fellow Eagles by wearing business casual attire such as a suit, a dress shirt, slacks, a skirt, or a dress.
