It is almost time to turn on the television and watch the biggest football game of the year. This delicious dessert is perfect to have for any football game. Not to mention, they only take about 30 minutes and have a fresh taste to them, blended with rich, creamy chocolate. Whether you’re having a lot of people over or just watching it by yourself, these delectable strawberries will liven the occasion.

Materials:

1 1/2 cups milk or dark almond bark

12-14 large strawberries

1/4 cup white chocolate almond bark

2 microwave safe bowls

Frosting or a Ziploc bag

Parchment paper

  1. Wash your strawberries and dry them with a paper towel; if they are wet, the chocolate will not be able to stick.
  2. Melt your dark or milk chocolate on high in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds, but be sure not to overheat. Take out the microwave-safe bowl and stir.
  3. Cover the strawberries with chocolate by holding each berry firmly by the leaves and making circular motions around the bowl.
  4. Set these on the parchment paper, moving them forward slightly to ensure that the chocolate doesn’t pool in front of the strawberry.
  5. Allow the chocolate to harden on the strawberries for 15 minutes. Then, melt your white chocolate, and wait for it to cool a little before placing it in a frosting bag (it might be runny otherwise). If you are using a Ziploc bag, cut a small hole in a corner. Slowly, make one vertical line in the center and several horizontal lines intersecting with it.
  6. Be sure to refrigerate your finished strawberries until game time, and be sure to enjoy this fast and easy dessert.
