Latkes are quite simple to make and don’t require a lot of ingredients, so whether you celebrate Hanukkah or not you can enjoy this delicious meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup of matzo meal, which is ground up matzo that can be purchased in most grocery stores during the holiday season
  • 1 bag of frozen shredded potatoes, defrosted
  • 3 eggs
  • Enough vegetable oil to cover a pan or griddle

Steps:

Latkes are traditionally eaten with applesauce or sour cream, but you can eat them any way you wish. Everybody will enjoy these delicious latkes this holiday season.
