Whether you wear it every day or to something more formal, a personalized hair comb is a great way to express your individuality and add extra flair to your outfit.

If you’re in need of a creative way to add a little something extra to your outfit, consider making your own custom hair comb. All you need are four inexpensive items and about ten minutes. You can wear it every day or to a more formal event, like Homecoming. This DIY is easy and great for all ages.
All Photos Courtesy of Sammi Tester Materials Needed:•2 pieces of ribbon or fabric strips•Hair comb of any size, but try to get either clear or the color of your hair•Scissors1. Knot the end of your first fabric strip or ribbon at the end of the hair comb.2. Weave your fabric through every other prong.3. Tie the fabric when you reach the end and cut off any excess that hangs off.4. Follow steps one and two for your second piece of fabric, making sure to weave it through the prongs that don’t hold your first strip.
5. Repeat step three with your second piece of fabric.
