From the melted caramels to the crunchy Rice Krispies, haystacks are easy to make and great for any occasion.
1 bag caramel candy
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 bag (16 oz.) large marshmallows
½ cup butter (only butter; no margarine)
½ box Rice Krispies
Unwrap all caramels.
Melt caramels, butter, and sweetened milk together in the microwave for about two and half minutes, taking it out and stirring it every 30 seconds.
Stir until all mixed together.
Dip marshmallows one at a time in caramel mixture, then roll in Rice Krispies.
Place on waxed paper.
Serve and enjoy! They can be frozen.
