Ingredients:
2 large egg whites at room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whip egg whites together until foamy.
Add cream of tartar to bowl and continue to beat for 30 seconds. Repeat two or three times.
Distribute powdered sugar into the bowl slowly while mixing.
Once powdered sugar is incorporated, turn on mixer to high and beat until icing is a thick consistency (about 3-5 minutes).
Refrigerate until use.
