Its rich tomato flavor and crunchy texture have made it a staple of classy and casual dinners alike, a fact that can be attributed to the plethora of fresh ingredients used in its creation. Fortunately for bruschetta enthusiasts, this delectable starter can be made in five simple steps.

Avocado oil
Shredded mozzarella cheese

Cut sourdough bread into six half-inch slices and lightly cover them with olive oil. Place onto a baking sheet and toast at 350° Fahrenheit until lightly golden.
Spread pesto onto the toasted sourdough slices, cover with provolone and mozzarella cheese, and toast until cheese is completely melted.
Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a bowl, then cover them in about 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar. Mix thoroughly.
Add oregano, pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder into the mixing bowl and stir.
