Lillie Krasselt is currently a junior at Horizon Honors and is excited to participate in her first year with the Journalism program. After participating in the Yearbook program for four years, she hopes she can add a new perspective to the team. She has been at Horizon Honors for fourteen years and  her interest in writing stems primarily from novels she read in elementary and a fascination with the ability to create whatever one wants using just words. In her free time she participates extensively in the school community as a part of the student council and volleyball team. Krasselt also holds a job at a local trampoline park, volunteers with a local hospital, enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and has been a member of Girl Scouts since kindergarten. After high school, she hopes to continue her education as she aspires to pursue a career in the medical field. Krasselt is most excited to get to know a new group of people and grow as both a writer and a person as she learns from those around her.
