Restaurant Review: Bell’ Italia Pizzeria

Bell’ Italia Pizzeria is a local and family owned restaurant that offers delicious Italian cuisine such as pizza, calzones, and pasta. The pizza can be built the way you like or you could try some of their specialty pizzas; one of my favorite speciality pizzas is the Venice which contains olive oil, tomato, oregano, basil, and garlic. The pastas are not to be missed out on, especially the chicken fettuccine alfredo; the creamy alfredo sauce and grilled chicken make the pasta taste wonderful. The restaurant also offers the choice of gluten free pastas and pizzas, and a selection of appetizers and freshly made desserts like cannolis.

Mario and Paola Caputo own the Pizzeria and their sons will inherit the restaurant to continue the family tradition of serving authentic Italian food.The cozy atmosphere and incredible service add to the experience of a true authentic Italian experience. Bell’ Italia Pizzeria is open everyday from 4pm-9pm, and is located on the southeast corner of Chandler Boulevard and 48th street.

Carter is a senior at Horizon Honors and has been attending the school for 14 years. She is currently in her second year of journalism and is the Sports Editor. Originally joining the class with the hope of getting more writing experience and one day pursuing a career in journalism. She is not involved with any sports or clubs at the school, but she does volunteer at her Church. After high school she plans on attending Northern Arizona University.

In her free time she enjoys reading and watching television, she also likes shopping and spending time with her family. Her favorite television show is The Walking Dead. She loves animals and hopes that her future career will have some connection to an organization that works to help and protect endangered species. As of now she plans on majoring in Business and Marketing, but that might change once she attends college. Carter is excited to be a senior and is looking forward to graduating.
