Ariel Klug, Columnist
Ariel Klug, a seventh grader, was born in Greeley, Colorado, and moved to Phoenix at two years old. Ariel has two younger siblings, Eva and Judah, who are 10 and six years old. She also has a cat named Aslan, who is four years old. Music is a big part of Ariel’s life, not only because her dad plays the piano, but because she also enjoys singing. Some of her favorite artists are old bands and singers such as Elton John, the Beatles, and Queen, although she also likes newer singers, such as Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, and Lizzo. Aside from singing, Ariel loves to write and hang out with friends and family. Ariel’s mom is a writer and has influenced her to become better at it. In her free time, you can often find her at the mall with close friends, listening to music she loves, or relaxing in bed. Ariel likes to swim, and she has done non-competitive swimming for a while in the past. She also likes to practice and experiment with makeup and clothes. She enjoys traveling, and hopes to one day go to Italy. Some of her favorite places she has been to are Paris and London. Some shows she enjoys are “Masterchef” and other cooking shows, “The Gilmore Girls,” and “The Office.” Ariel hopes to go to college in California or New York, and dreams of pursuing a career in singing and songwriting. She is looking forward to being in Journalism this year.
