Lauren Jason is a 12-year-old seventh grader. This is her first year as a columnist for The Horizon Sun. She has been a student at Horizon Honors her entire life and this is her eighth year here. Jason likes writing about anything, except for politics. Some of her hobbies include playing volleyball, making art, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. History is Jason’s favorite thing to learn about in school, as she thinks it is very interesting. She enjoys the winter and fall when it’s snowing and raining and loves the outdoors. When she is older, she hopes to go to college with her friends and learn more about Earth’s geology. Going on a vacation to Hawaii with friends had been her dream ever since she was little. Jason loves to talk and make people laugh. She is definitely looking forward to writing articles in this year of Journalism.
