Mateo Olmos is a 15-year-old sophomore at Horizon Honors. This is his fourth year in journalism as a columnist. Olmos enjoys writing articles about animals, natural disasters, and crime. Outside of school, Olmos likes to read graphic novels, his favorite being “Wings of Fire.” In addition to reading, he also likes to draw. During the weekends, Olmos supports his local church and helps gather the donations during Mass. He is always ready to help his fellow peers if they ever need anything.
