Savannah Williams is in eighth grade attending Horizon Honors. Williams is in her first year of journalism as a columnist. Williams plays basketball currently, but danced for 12 years before that. Dance was her first love, but she unfortunately quit dancing in January of 2025. However, this allowed her to become open to new sports, such as, basketball, flag football, track and field, and softball! Williams also loves the ocean. She loves the smell, breeze, and the view of the ocean. Moreover, some other interests of Williams include painting, movies, R&B music, and helping others in her community. Williams joined NJHS for the very reason of helping the community any way she can! Her first volunteer work this year was volunteering at the daycare on the Horizon Honors Elementary. Overall, Williams is looking forward to improving her writing skills in Journalism this year!
