Tanusri Kumar is a columnist for The Horizon Sun. This is her first year in Journalism. Kumar is happy about being an eighth grader at Horizon Honors, and looks forward to being a high schooler next year. At school, Kumar is a part of the Girls Who Code Club. Outside of school, she is an assistant teacher for Kannada class, a language spoken in India. Kumar’s parents are from India, and Kumar is the first person in her family to be born in America. Kumar is great at many things such as drawing and playing video games. Kumar is looking forward to writing as a columnist for The Horizon Sun to immerse herself in a world of writing.
