Vanyssa Haug, Editor
Vanyssa Haug is a senior at Horizon Honors going into her second and final year at the school and her first as an editor of The Horizon Sun. She is planning to attend Arizona State University after graduation and major in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering and plans to publish novels on the side. Haug hopes to move to Seattle, live in a high-rise flat, and get a husky puppy, all before she is 30 years old.
In her free time, Haug reads, writes, listens to music, and drinks tea. Some of her favorite books are “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky, “Finding Jake” by Bryan Reardon, “Ultraviolet” by R.J. Anderson, “Speak” by Laurie Halse Anderson, and “A Certain Slant of Light” and “Under the Light” by Laura Whitcomb. Her favorite films are “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “Now Is Good,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Speak,” “Bridge to Terabithia,” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
