Switching Up the Nintendo Switch
February 5, 2019
Recently, there has been some talk about a new game console from Nintendo, following their release of the Nintendo Switch two years ago. Not many people know of this report, but speculations have already arisen.
Nintendo has frequently made new versions of already-existing products, but updated with better performances, like enhancing the overall look and function of it before their next console. This goes for consoles like the Wii, the Nintendo DS, etc. And like these previous consoles, Nintendo allegedly plans on making an updated version of the Switch with far longer battery life, better display, and increased function as a portable device.
The current Switch can last for up to three hours when playing an AAA (high-quality) game, according to DigitalTrends. Since Nintendo wants to make this console easily usable on the go, there would need to be a few adjustments to improve battery life and quality of the device. To help solve this problem, they will be changing the quality and precision of the screen’s display adjustments to their advantage. Nintendo says that they would make changes that “would make it brighter, thinner, and more energy-efficient.” according to DigitalTrends.
Even though the Switch came out only about two years ago, it’s not unsurprising that they’re making changes to the console already. The Switch is dated in the gaming world, so this leak allegedly will improve the device. They will possibly come out with something brand new in the future, but for now, they’re going to stick to their normal schedule.
