A Sweet Treat with Sweet Potatoes

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and that means delicious food is on its way. Take a break from your traditional recipes and try this new, delectable recipe that you will become a part of your Thanksgiving tradition.
Ingredients:
- 4 sweet potatoes
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- Marshmallows (enough to cover your tray)
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit, conventional bake.
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes, placing in a large pot with enough water to cover the potatoes.
- Boil them until they are soft, about 30 minutes
- Drain water and mash the potatoes.
- Mix in the butter.
- Add the brown sugar. If 1 tsp isn’t enough for your taste, add more as necessary.
- Put into a baking dish and scatter a layer of marshmallows on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake until marshmallows become golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.
