Matthew Greco, Columnist
Matthew Greco is a 14-year-old in eighth grade. This is his second year as a columnist for The Horizon Sun. He enjoys playing video games, and he likes to switch which games he plays every once in a while. His favorite class is Journalism because he can find stuff to write about and enjoys the feeling of typing. Greco is a very friendly person and he likes to make friends. When he grows up, he wants to pursue a career that is related to the weather. A weather reporter or a meteorologist strikes his interest. His favorite animal is a capybara, and he loves them with a passion. Greco has no pets, but his family is looking into getting a dog. His favorite outdoor activity is kayaking because he's close to the water without touching it. He spends his summers at Camp Highlands for boys where he likes to mess around. He had previously lived in Chicago, Illinois but he moved all the way from Illinois to Arizona in 2019 by driving. Another thing about him is that he is extremely bad at keeping pens and pencils alive; they just disappear when he's not looking.
