The sounds of high school P.E. students saying “climbing” and “on me” were the sounds, amongst others, that echoed the walls of Climbmax Climbing Gym on April 29. Horizon Honors’ high school P.E. students met in the courtyard at approximately 9:10 a.m., took attendance, and left shortly after. After all the students got to the rock gym, everyone had a quick demonstration of how to properly climb and knot the ropes. Everyone dispersed with the partners they picked and started climbing the walls and bouldering. Many of the students were having a great time, whether climbing, bouldering, or doing other fun activities. The bus got back to the school around 2:15 p.m. Overall, it seemed like a majority of students had an enjoyable day at the rock gym.
