If you’re hungry for a new animated movie, chew on this! Exactly who should you call when a machine that should turn water into food runs out of control and is spewing hybrid food-animals all over your hometown? If you’ve never been in that situation, Flint Lockwood has, and he calls his friends (and one very dimwitted monkey) for help. The movie continues the story from the last film, where amateur inventor Flint Lockwood successfully disarmed his FLDSMDFR and stopped the machine from showering Swallow Falls with giant scoops of ice cream, meatballs, and french fries — or so he thinks. To save the town from Foodimals (an animal-food hybrid) and to prevent the giant edible animals from escaping the island and wreaking havoc — Flint, Sam, Manny, Brent, Steve the Monkey, and Policeman Earl set off for Swallow Falls again in hopes of stopping the FLDSMDFR once and for all!
