The Salsa of Choices

This scrumptious salsa was gone in a few days, and is the perfect complement to tons of snacks!

Restaurant style salsa is one of the loves of my life and it’s especially good homemade.  That’s exactly why this recipe will make your day.  This salsa calls for a can of diced tomatoes, but here’s the kicker; they can be any kind of tomatoes.  You can substitute them for roasted canned tomatoes, tomatoes and green chiles (if you’re up for some more spice), really, just about anything.  Any way you do it, it’ll knock your socks off, no doubt about it.

Start to Finish: 10 minutes

Servings: About 40 ounces (or five cups)

Ingredients:

2 cloves of garlic, minced

½ sweet onion

¼ – ½ bunch of cilantro

4 large roma tomatoes

1 can of tomatoes

1 lime

salt

In a blender, combine the garlic, onion, and cilantro and blend until fine.  Add the roma and canned tomatoes, the lime juice, and coat the top with salt.  Blend until you reach your desired consistency.

This salsa is very fast and, most importantly, very delicious, so run on over to grocery store, grab your grub, and get started!
