Cake Better Than Coffee

Breakfast is undoubtedly a crucial meal in any child or adult’s day. It gives you fuel for the rest of the day, as well as more energy, balances your eating schedule, and allows you to excel in your school or workplace. Many individuals, however, skip out on breakfast because they don’t have any time to prepare or eat it. This tasty breakfast is the answer to all of your problems. It’s simple to make, takes little time to eat, and will satisfy your daybreak hunger pangs.

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ⅔ cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs

Topping:

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp or more cinnamon

Directions:

Cake:

  1. Mix flour mixture (or self rising flour), sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Add buttermilk, butter, and eggs.
  3. Beat low speed until moistened.
  4. Beat medium speed 3 minutes.
  5. Pour mix into greased and floured 13×9 pan.

Topping:

  1. Mix ingredients and sprinkle on top of cake mix.
  2. Cover with plastic food wrap and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
  3. Bake at 350° 35-40 minutes.
