Winter might be a time for scented candles and plush, cozy blankets, but this dessert recipe is a reminder that summer produce doesn’t have to be forgotten. The chocolate pairs perfectly with the berries and vanilla, adding up to a wonderful dessert!

Ingredients:

  • Vanilla or lemon loaf, using your favorite recipe or store-bought batch
  • Instant chocolate mousse
  • Assorted berries, such as blackberries and raspberries.

How to Make:

  1. To start, make your instant chocolate mousse. Refrigerate for one hour at least.
  2. Wash and sort your berries. Refrigerate until cool.
  3. Pull out a slice of your vanilla or lemon loaf cake. Use a spoon to make a slight depression in the center.
  4. Add a dollop of your mousse into the depression.
  5. Add a few berries on top of the mousse.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

While this recipe may be simple, it makes for a delicious dessert, great for any party, picnic, or sugar craving. All ingredients of the dessert are great on their own, but together, they make a beautiful foodie creation.
