Gratitude in the Pandemic
Even in these difficult times, it’s important to remember all the good in your life.

Times are hard for everyone right now, and it’s important to have people to be with. Having someone to talk to and be there for you during these times is very important. I am very thankful to all my friends and family who have helped me and given me support throughout the pandemic.
Family is forever. They will always be there for you, and even through differences and rough times, they will always stick with you. That’s just what family does. We played family games, had family dinners, and much more during the pandemic. We were all there for each other in the absence of a normal social life. The change was hard and I wished that the world could just go back to normal, but that wish never came true. Instead, I had to realize that this time was something valuable; a learning experience. Something that the pandemic couldn’t take away from me. Family was there. And the fact is family is always there.
Even with the pandemic still at large, my friends and I still try to keep in touch and to be there for each other. We made Discord servers and talked for hours some days. We got to connect with people that we hadn’t been able to see for a long time. We talked about what was going on in our life and what we should do once the pandemic ended. We gave ourselves something to hope for and something to hold onto.
That’s where the silver lining is in the pandemic. It grows bonds. It’s spending more time with family or being there to talk with your friends, and that is what I am grateful for.
