Notion is an easy-to-use tool to stay organized.

Notion is an all-in-one workspace to organize your projects, tasks, notes and calendars. It was released in 2016 by Ivan Zhao and was inspired by the early ideas and tools of the Industrial Revolution.

Many college students use Notion to help categorize their busy schedules, keep track of assignments, and take notes. Small businesses, teachers, and companies use Notion as well.

The navigation for Notion is easy to operate and find what you need. It replaces software like Google Docs (note taking), Evernote (note taking), Todoist (to-do lists) and Microsoft OneNote (collaborative note taking). The price is free, but you can upgrade for more storage and features.

How To Use Notion

  1. Create an account on Notion by going to notion.so and clicking on sign-up.
  2. On the column on the left, there will be a button named Templates. Click on that.
  3. There, you can choose from any type of templates. If you don’t want to choose a template you can always create your own. (I went ahead and created my own template because I didn’t like any of the other ones).
  4. To use it, click on the link here and then click duplicate on the top right. You can customize it to your liking by changing the icons and covers.

Overall, Notion is a great software that helps me organize and be more productive. I use it to keep track of assignments that I have due and to plan for upcoming events.
