Kate Henning, Editor of Student Opinion

Kate Henning is a junior at Horizon Honors and it is her sixth year here. This is her third year in Journalism and her first year editing for The Horizon Sun. Her favorite subject in school is English, mainly because she enjoys writing, which is also the reason why she joined Journalism. Henning has recently joined Key Club and Granny Square Club; so far she has really enjoyed them. Outside of school, Henning loves to write stories, play Roblox, scroll on her phone, and most of all, sing. She has been singing ever since she was three years old. Whenever she can, she will also try to hangout with her friends. Henning is a big animal lover; she has a mini schnauzer at home named Tucker. Henning is also a big foodie, and will eat or try anything on her plate. Henning is an ambivert, meaning she balances between both extroversion and introversion. She is so excited to be back and to take on this new role as an editor.
