Kate Henning is a sophomore at Horizon Honors. It is Henning’s fifth year at Horizon Honors, but her second year writing for The Horizon Sun. Henning joined Journalism because she enjoys writing in her free time. Whenever she has a good story idea, she pulls out her computer and starts writing. Henning’s hobbies are singing, drawing and painting, and writing stories and sometimes songs. She is a big animal person and has a dog named Tucker. Her favorite color is royal purple, but she does not have a favorite food because she is a big foodie and will eat anything. She is an ambivert, meaning she balances both extroversion and introversion. When she isn’t busy with school work, she ends up playing video games with her friends. Henning is excited to be back and write stories for The Horizon Sun.
