Leilani Rickertsen is a seventh grader attending her first year at Horizon Honors. She joined Journalism for her love of writing; one thing she likes to write about is issues that are going around the world. She enjoys soccer, which she has played since fourth grade; she also enjoys playing volleyball and has been involved in it since second grade. She just moved to Arizona from San Diego, California. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family; Another thing she likes to do is travel the world with her family. She is looking forward to a great year in a new school.
