Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 pound canned pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 ½ cup of self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp each of salt, ginger, and nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 2 tsp baking soda

Steps:

  1. Gather ingredients and materials.
  2. Mix first four ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Sift the rest of the ingredients into another bowl.
  4. Pour sifted ingredients into pumpkin mix and stir thoroughly.
  5. Pour mix into two bread pans.
  6. Heat oven to 325 degrees and bake for 1 ½ hours.

This bread can be served for breakfast or as a snack, and is satisfying to anyone’s taste buds. If you want to try a new and surprisingly quick pumpkin-based recipe, definitely consider making this bread for not only Thanksgiving, but the entire fall season.
