Each of these parties have many views and focus on their own issues. Democrats say that their party focuses on equality, healthcare, and gun control. According to the GOP, Republicans’ eyes are on reduced taxes and preserving the Constitution, as stated in the Party’s platform. The Libertarian Party says that it holds the belief that the government should have little control over citizens. Finally, the Green Party generally believes in ecological awareness, but they also focus on non-violence, sustainability, and gender equity.
Taxes are a very important subject to people of the United States because they directly affect them. According to CNN, Democrats are trying to raise taxes for the upper class.
