Katy is a senior at Horizon Honors. As a first year journalism student, she serves as a columnist for The Horizon Sun.
Often lost in thought, Katy finds herself happiest when writing creatively with a mug of tea or coffee by her side. The murky-eyed girl also enjoys reading, video games, and really any source of media that provides entertainment. Her preferred genres are fantasy and fiction. That being said, should you ever find yourself in need of information regarding mythical creatures, mainly mermaids, and fairy tales, Katy would be more than happy to geek out about them with you. Important things to note about this desert dweller is that Katy has an ardent love of all things water, such as rain or the ocean, and that she is a bit of an anglophile.
