Mia Houston is a 15-year-old freshman at Horizon Honors. This is their second year in Journalism and their third year at the school. Houston has always loved music and video games. Their favorite songs at the moment are “El tango de Roxanne,” “Romantic Homicide,” and “Love on the Moon.” Their favorite games are “Minecraft,” “Pokémon Legends: Arceus,” and “Horizon Zero Dawn.” Houston’s favorite color is lavender and their favorite drink is Dr Pepper. They are very proud of their achievements in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Houston is a big “Star Wars” and “Attack on Titan” fan. Houston is currently taking Journalism and Spanish, and hopes to take Culinary Arts next year. Graduating from NAU is their goal. Houston is excited for this year in Journalism and the years to come.
