The ingredients to Channing Tatum’s ‘perfect sandwich.’

Quille Houston, Columnist

Like many people, celebrities have weird food combinations they enjoy: Us Food reports that Channing Tatum’s “perfect sandwich” is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Cheetos, Selena Gomez loves to eat popcorn dipped in pickle juice, and Taylor Swift loves lavender lemonade (for obvious reasons). Celebrities aren’t the only ones who enjoy these weird food combinations, though; here are some of those from Journalism:

Quille Houston, Columnist: When I was younger, I would have toast with butter and jelly and I would get Honey Nut Cheerios with milk. Then, I would dip my toast in there.

Kate Henning, Columnist: I’m a fan of peanut butter mixed with vanilla ice cream. I also like sandwiches with just Doritos in the middle.

Canon Grant, Columnist: I enjoy marshmallow fluff – peanut butter sandwiches.

Melissa Sayadinejad, Columnist: I like eggs and ketchup.

Allister McLeod, Editor of Student Opinion: Peanut butter on hamburgers, cilantro on everything else. Scrambled eggs mixed into ramen is great, too!

Amanda Mourelo, Columnist: Hash browns with whipped cream, grilled cheese dipped in maple syrup, a burger dipped in ice cream or a milkshake, and turkey wrapped Cheetos are all good.

Theo McShane, Editor of Features and Extras: My favorite weird food combination is dipping my pretzel sticks in key lime flavored yogurt.

Kalyn McLeod, Editor of Campus Life and Sports: I love me some sausage and syrup. Ketchup with eggs and mac ‘n cheese lowkey slaps, and mustard is very yum yum. I also love fruit with cheese: apples and blue cheese, goat cheese and pears, and watermelon and feta cheese. ?

Matthew Greco, Columnist: I like melted marshmallows in between the cream of the oreos, and french fries in chocolate or vanilla milk shakes. Also, unpopular opinion: vanilla ice cream is the best because it is a base flavor, so you can add to it.

Brody Cheroke, Columnist: I’m a fan of combining three types of cereal into one bowl and jelly or jam on a burger.

Mateo Olmos, Columnist: My favorites are ramen noodles and sourdough bread, marshmallows and peanut butter, nachos with onion rings, egg and bacon tacos with pretzels, carrots in a cheese quesadilla, and fishsticks and ice cream. Don’t judge me on the last one.

Jacob Snow, Columnist: Eggs and beans.

Jameson Kowalski, Columnist: I enjoy maple syrup on scrambled eggs and mayonnaise on fish and chips.

Rochelle Georges, Columnist: I like yogurt and spaghetti.

Patrick Berkebile, Columnist: Wendy’s frosty with fries or chicken nuggets is great.
