Give Thanks for These Muffins

These delicious muffins are a recipe you have to make for Thanksgiving.

This recipe is simple and easy to make, and this treat only takes about 30 minutes to mix and bake. This recipe makes up to 16 mini-muffins.

Muffin Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup applesauce
  • 1 ¾ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½  teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Topping Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, vanilla, and applesauce to the butter mixture and combine well.
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together in a separate bowl and add slowly to the butter mixture.
  5. Scoop into a greased mini muffin tin and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Dip the muffin tops in the butter then the sugar mixed with cinnamon to coat well. Enjoy!
