Here in Arizona we are lucky to have the amazing weather during our spring break. This means that we get to spend time outside on our two weeks off. Most people spend their break on the couch with some food and Netflix. Now don’t get me wrong, I love hanging out and relaxing on my time off, but I also think it is important to go outside and enjoy the sun as well. In Arizona, if you want to see a sports game, then you can go to some Spring Training games since we have the Cactus League here. If you want to spend some time with some animals while you eat your pancakes, then you can go to The Farm at South Mountain. For some people who are into the adrenaline rush, then you can grab a black light and go on a hike up Camelback Mountain for some scorpion hunting.

We are lucky to have the Cactus League here in Arizona so we are able to go catch a few games before the MLB season starts. For baseball fans, this is a cheap and easy way to spend the day on break. You can choose to sit in the stands or you can sit on the lawn with some friends and relax in the sun.

The Farm at South Mountain is essentially a farm with animals and beautiful plants, but also there is a cute little cafe with delicious food. They have a big open space for when they will host events like brunches, which is most often open to the public – as long as you buy a ticket. It is family-friendly and people of all ages enjoy their time there.

There is also this fun and adventurous activity called scorpion hunting where you bring a black light and go hiking with friends and look for all the scorpions around you. You obviously have to stay safe when doing this, but it is an exciting night time adventure.

There are plenty of exciting ways to experience our beautiful state of Arizona. These activities are great ways to spend quality time with friends and family over your break.
