“The Batman:” Set Leaks and Fan Theories
Leaked pictures from the filming of the upcoming Batman movie have sparked widespread speculation across the internet.

The internet has been abuzz lately as leaked photos have surfaced from the filming of the upcoming 2022 Batman film (directed by Matthew Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson Jr. as the titular hero). Fans have already jumped begun speculating and theorizing on the photos, captured by extras from the filming in Chicago. The pictures of different set pieces include the Batcycle, a bus, and a taxi, plus a very exciting leak of some of the caped crusader’s fellow superheroes…
This is one of the first set photos to be released for The Batman in which you can see the new Batsuit and Pattinson’s stunt double riding the Batcycle. There are some small cylinders visible on the Batsuit’s gauntlets, in place of the defensive spikes that usually feature on Batman’s gloves—but it’s unclear what this new feature is. Some speculate that it could spray smoke or gas, and others think it shoots spikes; they could even be miniature rockets. But there is no definite answer yet on what manner of gadget they could be.
