The famous rapper Lil Uzi Vert got a diamond implanted into his forehead on Feb. 4, 2021.

According to Vulture, Uzi’s diamond is 10-11 carats. “Why would one do this?” you might ask? Well, Uzi announced on his Twitter that “THIS IS FASHION” and continues on to say that “I never cared about judgmental people on this earth.” Despite backlash from many people, who say that Uzi’s decision was stupid, the 26 year old rapper continues to flaunt his pride and joy all over his social media platforms. Contrary to many rumors, Uzi’s diamond decision wasn’t impulsive, and instead the rapper has spent the past “several years” paying for the gem. Uzi has confirmed that he does have insurance for the diamond, and assures his audience that he will take extremely good care of it.

Despite all the continuous backlash, Uzi announced that the diamond makes him happy, and that he feels extremely blessed that the surgery went well. Upon first announcing this decision, many were in doubt whether the rapper would follow through with such an outlandish decision. However, this can be a lesson to the people never to doubt Uzi.

While the diamond is extremely hyped and cool looking, the rapper announced on his Twitter that he could die if the stone was removed incorrectly. Without worry though, many fans look past this as they know that Uzi will be sure to take care of himself, as he does with all of his other prized possessions.

Lil Uzi Vert never fails to shock the world, and this is no exception. The rapper continues to grab the public’s attention day in and day out, and seems to never have any trouble staying relevant. People all across the world are still talking about this diamond, over a week later, and this could be expected for the following months to come.
