Sweet, Mouthwatering Glazed Apples

This is an amazing recipe to make glazed apples.
The finished product.
Eli Geist
The finished product.

Glazed apples, a good treat to snack on throughout the day, are an easy yet delicious dish similar to apple pie filling. and can be made in five easy steps!

Ingredients:

  • 4 apples
  •  ¼ cup of butter
  •  ¾ cup of cold water
  •  2 ½  teaspoons of cornstarch
  •  ½ cup of brown sugar
  •  1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Peel off the skin of the apples and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Get the pan and butter, turn the stovetop on, and set the butter in the pan. After melted, place the apples in with the sizzling butter and let them rest in the butter for around four to five minutes.
  3. Off to the side, get a medium-sized bowl, add the cornstarch and water, and mix until the cornstarch is dissolved. The water should be cloudy-color, and slightly thicker than water typically is.
  4. Add in the cornstarch water (this thickens the mixture), the cinnamon, and sugar, and consistently mix for around two to three minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

This treat can be enjoyed either warm or cold. The apples last around two to three days in the fridge and taste amazing. Adding whipped cream is delicious and adds a lot to the dish.
