On Feb. 7, a man by the name of Maison Des Champs, who uses the online name ‘Pro-Life Spider-Man,’ was seen climbing Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, says Unilad. Many people recorded him climbing and posted the videos to social media, while others called the authorities.

According to Fox 5 Vegas, when police arrived they waited until Des Champs reached the top and told the staff to meet him there to detain him before anyone was hurt. Des Champs was put in the patrol car. The cops were also notified that three other people were seen when Des Champs arrived who were handing out fliers as Des Champs climbed the Sphere. These three were also detained.

Fox 5 Vegas continues, saying that after the matter, the police were informed that there had been significant damage done to Sphere where Des Champs had climbed up. The damage is estimated at $100,000. The staff said Sphere is not meant to be touched from the outside since it’s so delicate.

After the fact, Des Champs told investigators that he had climbed many other buildings and had been arrested for them, but his lawyers got him out of it and this situation. He is scheduled to visit the Clark County Justice Court on Feb. 12 for his trial.
