Erin McGinty is a 13-year-old eighth grader. This is her ninth year at Horizon Honors, but her first year as a columnist for The Horizon Sun. She loves to write both formal and short stories, so she joined Journalism to improve her writing skills and learn new things. She’s fond of sports, but is yet to stick with one for longer than a season. McGinty enjoys relaxing and watching comedy movies. She also enjoys playing piano and learning new music. She has four pets: two dogs, and two guinea pigs. She’s looking forward to this year of Journalism.
