Dream Big, Work Hard

Courtney Kendall, Columnist

Children often have big dreams about what they will become when they grow up. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, these dreams don’t usually come true. Instead, young adults usually find themselves in professions that they never expected to be a part of.  Sometimes this happens as a matter of necessity. Other times, young people learn they have talents and interests that they did not realize they had when they were children. In most cases, these adults are happy that they ended up with the professions they did.
