Ever since I was little, making banana bread on chilly nights has always been a holiday tradition in my house. This recipe is simple, fast, and delicious to eat.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

¾ cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

¼ cup vegetable oil

1 cup mashed banana (about 1 ¾ of a banana)

1 cup crushed pineapple (juice and all)

non-stick cooking spray

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray vegetable oil throughout the baking pan.

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt all into one bowl, mix together until combined.

Set aside the mixture and in a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix in the vanilla. Next, add the oil, mashed banana, and crushed pineapple.

Then, pour wet ingredients into flour mixture. Stir until batter is thoroughly mixed and moist. When you’re done with this step, pour the finished batter into the baking pan and bake for about an hour (or until you can tell that it’s baked).

If desired, add  ½ cup of chopped nuts.

When the bread is done baking, set out to cool. Once it’s warm you can spread some butter onto the bread to add extra flavor.

After making the bread, it turned out amazing! Not only was it easy to bake, but also tasted delectable. Overall, this banana bread recipe won’t disappoint and I highly recommend to try this recipe out during the upcoming holiday season.
