Double Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate brownies are a dessert that everyone enjoys. They are great for parties and work events, and are quick and easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie mix
  • ¼ cup water
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place water, oil and egg and stir until fully mixed. Add brownie mix and stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan.
  3. Put brownies in oven (depending on what size pan you use for you brownies, 8 inch x 8 inch metal pan bake time is 39-43 minutes but if you are using 8inch x 8inch glass pan bake time is 43-48 minutes. If you are using a 9 inch x 9 inch metal pan bake time is 39-43 minutes.) Try not to overbake the brownies. They might looked underbaked, but test with a toothpick for doneness.
  4. Make sure the brownies are cooled completely before cutting.

For thicker brownies, make batter with (bake the same way as directed):

  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
