On Wednesday, Dec. 4, the Horizon Honors HS Girls’ Varsity Basketball team had their second game of the season against Tonopah Valley High School. When the game began, so did the excitement. The bleachers were packed, and everyone was screaming and shouting for our girls.

The game was exciting, and the Horizon team was high powered from tip-off. The crowd was going crazy from the start, and got more energetic by the end. The hard work in the game paid off, making this years Horizon Girls Varsity Basketball team start off winning.

At half time, the spirited cheerleaders showed the crowd a great performance. The Horizon Honors cheer team hyped up the crowed and kept them cheering on for our hard working girls basketball team.

The game was a close one, but Horizon Honors played strong and won the game with a score of 28-25.
