On Wednesday the MS Girls Basketball team played their first game against Rancho Solano’s Girls Basketball team in Scottsdale. Although Horizon Honors lost by 11 points, the girls put forth all their effort and tried their hardest. The Girls Basketball team plays their second game on Monday the 10th against the same Rancho Solano Middle School Girls Basketball team. The team consists of eighth graders Erica Kendree, Kenzie Knippers, Hannah McGerty, Raquel Trejo Alexis Vandermoore, and Alex Munsell along with seventh graders Emmy Cartwright, Jada Smith, Skylar Kemper, Pilar Rivera, and Naomi Sanders.
