Abbi Prieto is a seventh grade columnist for The Horizon Sun. Prieto likes to write reviews about movies, TV shows, books, and restaurants, and food. Prieto has a seven-year-old female corgi mix named Kai. Outside of school, Prieto loves to cook and bake. She also loves to read, with her favorite book series being “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” by Rick Riordan, along with “Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods” and “Percy Jackson’s Greek Heroes”. Evidently, she loves Greek mythology. Prieto has read a lot of books on Greek mythology, and her favorite Greek story is Homer’s “The Odyssey.” She also loves to watch movies. Her favorite genres are action and thriller. She hates clowns, scorpions, and heights. Prieto’s favorite dog breed is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and her favorite colors are mint green and sea green. Prieto has lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for her whole life, and her parents and most of her relatives are from Mexico, which makes her Mexican-American. She often visits Mexico to see family. She loves to travel, especially to forests and beaches, where she likes to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
