Amanda Mourelo is a sophomore at Horizon Honors. This is her second year in Journalism and her first year as an editor. Mourelo is fascinated with medicine and hopes to go into the medical field; she is currently a member of the Pre-Med Club. Mourelo used to be a part of the U.S. Figure Skating Team, and she plans to return to the sport because of her love for figure skating. She also enjoys working out, thrifting, running, cloud watching, dancing, going on walks, playing the piano, going to art galleries, hanging out with the people she loves, and listening to music. Some other little facts about her are that she has a huge sweet tooth and she loves birds. Mourelo is happy to have the opportunity to be an editor and is excited for this year in Journalism.
