Jet Taft, Columnist
Jet Taft is a columnist for The Horizon Sun. This is his first year in this position and he plans to be in the class for many more years to improve his writing skills and write stories. Taft enjoys history and computer programming. He is 13 years old and in the eighth grade. His favorite movies are “Toy Story 2,” “Shrek 2,” “The Bee movie,” and “Batman: Dark Night.” Taft's favorite foods are rice and chicken. He has an overactive imagination and daydreams often. He is invested in the lore of different games, especially horror games. His favorite games are “The Legend of Zelda”; "Tears of the Kingdom,” “Minecraft,” and “Starfield.” He is interested in Japanese culture and plans to move to the country after he graduates from high school. The samurai are his favorite military force. His favorite samurai was actually a ninja named Hattori Hanzo. The deepness of Japanese history has always drawn Taft towards understanding it.Taft has a wide interest when it comes to music, but his favorite kind of music is oldies; his favorite bands are Electric Light Orchestra, ABBA, Queen, Coldplay, and One Republic. His favorite solo singers are Rick Astley, Billy Joel, and Jimmy Buffett. His favorite songs are “My Life” by Billy Joel, “Apologize” by OneRepublic, “Killer Queen” by Queen, “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay, and “Livin Thing” by Electric Light Orchestra. Taft looks forward to writing for The Horizon Sun and hopes the year goes well.
