On Saturday, Jan. 24, Horizon Honors followed up the game with the homecoming dance at 7:00 pm and ended it at 11:00 pm. Students began to arrive once the doors opened, and were socializing before the DJ began to play songs. Students were also given hot chocolate and cake during the party. Once more students had arrived, the DJ began to play songs like, the Macarena, Golden (Kpop Demon Hunters), YMCA, and many more. Half way through the party, the DJ stopped playing and gave the microphone to Ms. Baird, where she asked the homecoming royalties to come to the stage and line up in front of the DJ booth to highlight the fact that they won for royalties. After she was done, everyone returned to the party and continued to celebrate with their friends.
The Horizon Sun hopes everyone who attended the party had an amazing experience and would like to join the next homecoming party.
